Open Hands Gambia provides help in a number of ways.

We work with the Sulayman Junkung Hospital in Bwiam, providing medicines and equipment. In 2008 we made a large donation to support the hospital's solar energy project.  

We have set up a Goat Farm attached to the Sulayman Junkung Hospital, to provide fresh, nutritious milk for malnourished children.

We support many children in school through donations given by kind sponsors.

We continue to export medical aid and education resources from the UK to Gambia, as well as other general items.

We are in the process of setting up a small cottage industry, growing fruit and vegtables and then manufacturing the produce into jams and preserves.

We build wells, to provide clean water for the whole community.
