The Open Hands Gambia works predominantly with children in the western division of the Gambia, those who in one way or another are unable to help themselves.

This can be because they are without parents, have no money within the family to pay for education, or, of course because of sickness.

One of our biggest problems is malnutrition, which is usually at it's worst at the completion of the rainy season. We need your help to make a difference to the life of a child and it really doesn't cost you more than a loaf of bread, something that we take for granted.
